Ajman Industrial 1 is a part of the larger Ajman Industrial Area, stretched along the lines of Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Street and Sheikh Zayed Street in Ajman. It is an urbanised locality featuring both residential and commercial zones. The residential part mainly consists of studio, 1 and 2-bed units, while the commercial area features many shops, labour camps and warehouses. Ajman Industrial Area is widely known for its commercial development. Being one of the oldest industrial areas in the emirate, it houses industries of the textile, printing press, woodwork and fisheries. Ajman Industrial 1 along with Ajman Industrial 2 is surrounded by developed residential areas including Al Rawda, Al Muwaihat, Al Jurf and Al Rashidya. The area is also well connected to the rest of the emirate via Ittihad Street (E11) highway, with Al Talla and Ajman FreeZone in close proximity to the area.
